Submitting an Abstract for the 12th Annual Meeting
The ASGT online abstract submission site is now live. To submit an abstract for the ASGT 12th Annual Meeting go to the ASGT website and click on the Submit an Abstract link on the right side of the page. Before you are able to submit an abstract you will have to Create a Login. Logins from previous ASGT meetings or ASGT membership logins do not work in the abstract submission system.

The ASGT 12th Annual Meeting has a new schedule this year, starting on Wednesday morning, May 27, 2009 and ending late Saturday night, May 30, 2009. The meeting will open on Wednesday morning with multiple clinical trial symposia, followed by the Education Sessions and conclude on Saturday evening with the Presidential Symposium and the traditional Saturday night party. Come early and stay late!
Abstract DeadlineThe deadline for submission of abstracts is February 2, 2009 at 11:59 PM EST.
Trainee Travel AwardsASGT will be offering up to 60 travel grants to postdoctoral fellows and students who are Associate Members of ASGT. Nonmember postdoctoral fellows and students are not eligible to receive travel grants. The grants will be awarded based on abstract scores and the determination of the ASGT Abstract Review Committee. Travel grants are worth up to $500 (Domestic-US, Canada and Mexico) or $600 (International-Outside of North America) for reimbursement of meeting-related expenses including lodging, travel and meals. To be considered for such a grant, plese be sure to check the appropriate box for Trainee Travel Award Consideration when submitting your abstract. Note: Meeting registration fees are non-reimbursable; travel grant recipients must register for the meeting and pay registration fees.
Abstract CategoriesA new abstract category called Tissue Engineering and Other Cell Therapies has been added for the 12th Annual Meeting. Go to the 12th Annual Meeting page of the ASGT website to view a PDF of the Call for Abstracts brochure which lists all of the Abstract Categories.
